Buffie Carruth is a model, actress, author and fitness expert. After working as an urban model for nearly a decade, in 2007 she switched fields into fitness. After garnering a major following on Youtube via her at home workout videos, Buffie created "Bodynomics" a company dedicated to health and fitness for full-figured women because she felt there was a void in the African American female community.

She took her research head on, reading and speaking with fitness trainers in order to obtain the tools needed to bring awareness to the masses.

In 2012, she became a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through The National Academy of Sports Medicine; and in August 2013, Carruth teamed up with 718 Productions and released the fitness DVD “Grade A Glutes” which was Directed and Produced by: Amalh "Iam Supaproducer" Mendelsohn.

Buffie's website (www.bodynomics.com) offers fitness tips, videos, fitness products and her personal training services.
